Privacy policy
Toasty collects no data
Toasty works on your iPhone. There is no account and there are no servers. Nothing you do in the app, and none of your health information, is sent to us or to anyone else. The app has no ads, tracking or analytics. Its App Store privacy label reads “Data Not Collected”.
What stays on your iPhone
Your sessions (when they happened, how long they lasted, heat or cold, and the setup you used), your saved setups, weekly goals, check-ins and settings are stored on your iPhone. The Home Screen widget and the Lock Screen Live Activity show this data from your iPhone. It stays there until you delete it.
Apple Health
Toasty uses Apple Health only with your permission, and you choose which types it can use. With your permission it reads sleep, heart rate variability, resting heart rate, heart rate and workouts, so it can show your patterns next to your sessions. It can save your sessions as workouts, and, if you turn them on, mindful minutes and how you felt as mood.
Apple Health data is read and written on your iPhone only. It never leaves the device, and we never see it. You can change or remove Toasty’s access at any time: in the Health app, tap your profile picture, then Apps, then Toasty.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details or your Apple ID. The app asks Apple whether you have an active purchase so it can unlock its features.
Exports
When you export your sessions as a CSV file, the file is made on your iPhone and nothing is uploaded. You choose where it goes in the share sheet.
Deleting your data
You can delete any session in the app. Deleting the app removes everything it stores on your iPhone. Workouts and other entries Toasty saved to Apple Health stay in Health, where you can delete them.
This website
This site sets no cookies and has no analytics or trackers. Its font and images are served from the site itself, so visiting it makes no requests to anyone else.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date at the top.
